Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in cold water for 1 hour, then drain.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the soaked and drained rice, Greek yogurt, eggs, melted butter, dissolved saffron, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly combined.
