Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Cook the sweet potatoes in a large pot of boiling water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, milk, egg, vanilla extract, and salt.
Add the cooked sweet potatoes to the mixing bowl and mix well.
Grease a baking dish and pour the sweet potato mixture into it.
Top with chopped pecans.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
