Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. Trim the edges and prick the bottom with a fork.
In a frying pan, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream. Add the shredded Swiss cheese, cooked bacon, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir to combine.
Pour the egg mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Bake the quiche for 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
Allow the quiche to cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
