Instructions
In a food processor or blender, combine basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic cloves, and grated Parmesan cheese.
Pulse until the ingredients are roughly chopped.
With the motor running, slowly pour in olive oil and continue to process until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Use a rubber spatula to transfer the pesto sauce to a small jar or container.
Store the pesto sauce in the refrigerator until ready to use.
