Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the onion is translucent.
Add the ground turkey to the pot and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon or spatula, until it's browned and cooked through.
Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the pot and stir to combine.
Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and chicken broth to the pot and stir to combine.
Bring the chili to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the flavors have melded together and the chili has thickened.
Divide the chili into bowls and top with shredded cheese, chopped cilantro, sour cream, or diced avocado, if desired.
