- 1 block Firm Tofu (14 Oz), Drained And Pressed
- 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup Onion Finely Chopped
- 1/4 cup Red Bell Pepper Finely Chopped
- 1 tbps Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 Hamburger Buns
- 2 tbps Olive Oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, crumble the tofu using your hands.
- In a food processor or blender, pulse the breadcrumbs, onion, red bell pepper, and garlic until finely chopped.
- Add the mixture to the bowl with the tofu.
- Add the soy sauce, smoked paprika, dried thyme, and black pepper to the bowl and mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 8-10 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve each patty on a hamburger bun and add toppings of your choice.
