Lebanese Hummus Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cans Chickpeas Drained & Rinsed (Or 3 Cups Cooked Chickpeas)
- 1/2 cup Tahini
- 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
- 3 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1/4 cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt To Taste
- Paprika For Garnish
- Parsley For Garnish
Instructions
- In a food processor or blender, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt. Pulse the mixture until it's well blended and creamy.
- Gradually add the olive oil while the food processor or blender is still running, until the hummus is smooth and silky.
- Transfer the hummus to a mixing bowl and taste for seasoning. Adjust the salt and lemon juice as needed.
- To serve, transfer the hummus to a serving dish and drizzle with a little extra olive oil. Garnish with paprika and parsley.
