- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 8 oz Mascarpone Cheese At Room Temperature
- 1/2 cup Espresso Coffee Strong Brew, Cooled
- 1 tbsp Coffee Liqueur Optional
- 16 Ladyfingers
- Unsweetened Cocoa Powder For Dusting
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar with an electric mixer or whisk until soft peaks form.
- Add the mascarpone cheese to the bowl and beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- In a small bowl, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, making sure to coat both sides, and arrange them in a single layer in the bottom of an 8x8 inch baking dish.
- Spoon half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and spread it into an even layer.
- Repeat with another layer of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the tiramisu is chilled and set.
- Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder.
