  • Add the salmon to the pot and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
  • Remove the bay leaf and stir in the whole milk and heavy cream.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
