For The Croutons:

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the croutons.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, grated Parmesan cheese, and black olives (if desired). Toss gently to combine.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined. This is your Caesar dressing.
  • Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss well to ensure all the ingredients are coated.
  • Place the bread cubes on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Bake the croutons in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • Remove the croutons from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  • Sprinkle the homemade croutons over the Caesar Salad just before serving. Toss once more to distribute the croutons evenly.
  • Divide the Caesar Salad into individual serving bowls and garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
