  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until the mixture is just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Using a ladle, scoop the batter into the waffle maker, filling each section about 3/4 of the way.
  • Close the waffle maker and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the waffles are golden brown and crispy.
  • Use a fork or tongs to remove the waffles from the waffle maker and place them on a plate.
  • Repeat with the remaining batter until all the waffles are cooked.
  • Serve hot with your favorite toppings, such as butter, syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.

Notes

Additional tips:
To keep the waffles warm while you cook the rest, place them in a 200°F oven.
You can also freeze the cooked waffles and reheat them in the toaster for a quick and easy breakfast on busy mornings.
