Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef, Chicken, Pork, or Fish (Your Choice)
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 Onion
- 1 Bell Pepper
- 1 Garlic Clove Minced
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- Salt To Taste
- Pepper To Taste
- 8 Soft or Crispy Tortillas
- 1/2 cup Cilantro Chopped
- 1/2 cup Salsa
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper and sauté for a few minutes until they're soft.
- Add the minced garlic, chili powder, and cumin to the skillet and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
- Add the meat to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- To assemble the tacos, warm the tortillas in the microwave or in a skillet for a few seconds.
- Divide the meat mixture between the tortillas and top with chopped cilantro and salsa.
- Serve the tacos immediately, garnished with additional toppings like sliced avocado, lime wedges, or grated cheese.

Note: Tacos can be customized with different fillings, toppings, and sauces to suit different tastes and preferences. Experiment with different combinations to find your favorite!
Slow Cooker Instructions:
To make the meat filling for tacos in a slow cooker, combine the meat, chopped onion and bell pepper, minced garlic, chili powder, and cumin in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meat is tender and cooked through. Shred the meat with a fork and proceed with the recipe as written.
