  • In a large pot, heat the milk. When the milk comes to a boil, add the vinegar and stir well.
  • Turn off the heat and let the milk sit for a minute until it curdles.
  • Place a cheesecloth over a bowl and strain the curdled milk through it. Squeeze the excess water from the cheese and let it cool.
  • Knead the cheese with your palms until it becomes smooth. Divide it into small balls and flatten them slightly.
  • In a large pot, heat the water and add sugar. Stir well.
  • Add the flattened cheese balls to the water and let them cook for 10-15 minutes until they double in size.
  • In a separate pot, heat milk. Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron. Stir well.
  • Add the cooked cheese balls to the milk mixture and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped almonds and serve chilled.
