- 16 oz Fresh or Dried Ramen Noodles
- 1 lb Pork Belly Sliced
- 2 Green Onions Chopped
- 4 Eggs Boiled And Peeled
- 4 cups Chicken or Pork Broth
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/4 cup Corn Kernels
- Nori Sheets Sliced (Optional)
Instructions
- In a medium pot, combine the chicken or pork broth, soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes, until the flavors have melded together.
- In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions. Drain the noodles and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the sliced pork belly over medium-high heat until it is browned and crispy.
- To assemble the ramen, divide the noodles between 4 bowls. Add a ladle of broth to each bowl, and then top with slices of pork belly, chopped green onions, corn kernels, and a boiled egg. Add sliced nori sheets on top of the egg, if desired.
