  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until caramelized, about 30 minutes.
  • Add the balsamic vinegar and honey to the skillet and stir until the onions are coated.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the goat cheese, heavy cream, egg, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll out the pre-made pie crust and transfer it to the tart pan. Press it down and trim the edges.
  • Spread the caramelized onions over the bottom of the crust and pour the goat cheese mixture over it.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  • Serve warm with a handful of baby arugula on top or on the side.
