Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 3 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 cup Milk
- 2 Egg Yolk Large
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Bananas Ripe, Sliced
- 1 cup Vanilla Wafers Crushed
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together the granulated sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and egg yolks until the mixture is smooth.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, whisking constantly, for 10-15 minutes or until the mixture has thickened.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the butter and vanilla extract.
- Let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, layer the vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and pudding mixture.
- Repeat the layering process until all of the ingredients are used.
- Cover the serving dish with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
