- 1 pound Beef Ribeye Thinly Sliced, Or
- Sirloin
- 1 pound Pork Belly Thinly Sliced, Or
- Pork Loin
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Mirin (Japanese Sweet Rice Wine)
- 2 tbsp Sake (Japanese Rice Wine)
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1 tsp Ginger Fresh, Grated
- Green Onions Thinly Sliced, For Garnish

- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Divide the marinade in half. Use one portion to marinate the beef slices and the other portion for the pork slices. Allow the meat to marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator. (Marinating is optional but enhances the flavors.)
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the meat from the marinade and discard the marinade. Pat the meat slices dry with a paper towel to ensure proper browning during grilling.
- Grill the marinated beef and pork slices, working in batches if needed, for approximately 2-3 minutes per side or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- While grilling the meat, grill the assorted vegetables until tender and lightly charred.
- Transfer the grilled meat and vegetables to serving plates or bowls.
- Garnish with thinly sliced green onions for an added touch of freshness.
