Sazerac Cocktail Recipe

- 2 Rocks Glasses (Chilled)
Ingredients
- Ice Cubes
- 4 oz Rye Whiskey
- 2 Sugar Cubes
- 2 tsp Simple Syrup
- 4 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
- Absinthe
- Lemon Twist For Garnish
Instructions
- Place a sugar cube in a mixing glass or cocktail shaker. Add a splash of water and crush the sugar with a bar spoon until dissolved.
- Fill the glass or shaker with ice. Add the rye whiskey and Peychaud's bitters.
