- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1 tsp Rosewater
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cardamom
- 1/4 cup Pistachios Chopped (Optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and ground cardamom.
- In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the unsalted butter to the sugar and water mixture, stirring until melted.
- Add the flour mixture to the saucepan, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan.
- Add the rosewater and stir until well combined.
- Pour the Halva into a greased dish and smooth out the top with a spoon.
- Let the Halva cool to room temperature, then sprinkle with chopped pistachios, if desired.
- Cut into small pieces and serve.
