- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 cup Almonds Toasted
- 1 cup Sesame Seeds Toasted
- 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
Instructions
- Using a food processor or blender, pulse the toasted almonds until they are finely ground.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground almonds, toasted sesame seeds, whole wheat flour, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Mix until well combined.
- In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil and honey over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the honey is melted.
- Pour the honey and oil mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Let the mixture cool slightly, then use your hands to shape it into small balls or patties.
- Store the Sellou in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
- Serve and enjoy!
