Indian Tandoori Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 Chicken Breasts Boneless & Skinless
- 4 Chicken Legs & Thighs Skinless
- 1 cup Plain Yogurt
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 2 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- Salt & Pepper To Taste
Instructions
Preparing Chicken:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the yogurt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, smoked paprika, turmeric, chili powder, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the chicken to the marinade and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for better flavor.
Baking Chicken:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking dish with aluminum foil and place the marinated chicken breasts on it. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil cover and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into pieces.
