- 2 Sweet Onions Large, Cut Into Rings
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- Cooking Spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another mixing bowl, whisk the egg and buttermilk together.
- In a third mixing bowl, place the panko bread crumbs.
- Dip each onion ring in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and finally the panko bread crumbs, making sure to coat each ring evenly.
- Place the onion rings in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other.
- Spray the onion rings with cooking spray.
- Air fry the onion rings for 5 minutes, then flip them over using tongs.
- Spray the onion rings with cooking spray.
- Air fry for another 4-5 minutes until the onion rings are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove the onion rings from the air fryer basket and let them rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
