Ingredients
- 1.1 lbs Lamb Cut Into Bite-Sized Pieces
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 2 Onions Finely Chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
- 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
- 2 Green Chilies Finely Chopped
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Fennel Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt To Taste
- 1 cup Tomato Puree
- 1/2 cup Plain Yogurt
- 2 tbsp Cilantro Leaves Chopped
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat the oil. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add ginger paste, garlic paste, and chopped green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
- Add cumin powder, coriander powder, fennel powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to taste. Mix well and sauté for a minute.
- Add the lamb pieces to the pan and mix well. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the lamb is browned on all sides.
- Add tomato puree and mix well. Cook for 5-10 minutes.
- Add yogurt and mix well. Cook for another 10-15 minutes until the lamb is tender.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
