Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Onion Large, Chopped
- 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1 can Kidney Beans (15 Oz.) Drained And Rinsed
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes (14.5 Oz.)
- 1 can Tomato Sauce (8 Oz.)
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- Salt & Pepper To Taste

Instructions
- Heat a large skillet or sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces with a wooden spoon or spatula.
- Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a slow cooker, if using.
- Add the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker. Stir well to combine.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot, topped with your favorite optional toppings.
Optional Stovetop Instructions:
- If you prefer to make this recipe on the stovetop, simply follow steps 1 and 2 as written.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the skillet and simmer over low heat for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Adjust the seasoning to taste and serve hot.
